The Nalter Valley is located in the northwest of Gilgit-Baltistan, the fifth province of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. It is 40 kilometers (25 miles) from the Gilgit city, across the Common Valley and develops in a range of 4,678 meters (15,348 feet). The valley is acknowledged for its beauty and its lakes. It is the first arrivals area for holidaymakers across the Silk Road, KKH (Highway Karakoram) and currently CEPC (China Pakistan Economic Transit). People say this is a paradise of realism. That is why every year during the summer holidays, more than 50,000 guests come to imagine and admire its beauty. While the winter season kicks off on January 1st, the National Games Championship ends on January 1st.
The path from Gilgit to Naltar offers a wonderful treatment of eye-catching treats from the icy blue stream flowing from the dust to the mountains, the natural covering mountains come closer and closer. Nelter is home to a wide range of wildlife, as well as marchers, snow leopards, boroughs, gray wolves, red foxes, beech Martin and wildcats, along with their magnificent mountain landscapes.
The weather in Nelter Valley is mild in summer. The temperature reaches a maximum of 22. C in July-August.
Lakes in the Nalter Valley
There are 3 lakes in the Nelter Valley called "Bushkiri Lakes", thirteen kilometers (8 miles) from Nishtara upper. The road from the village to the lake is riding a stream that returns from the mountains. Due to the snow on the road (10 to 15 feet high) in winter, it is not possible to reach the lake by any means.
Nalter Lake is locally known as "Chamu Bari (Fish Lake)", "Chakar Bari (Multi Ends Lake)" and "Bodolik Bari (Turbid Lake)".


Peaks in the Nelter Valley
Neelter Peak (4678 m) is a mountain in the Natara valley inside Gilgit district of Pakistan. It is located southeast of the peak (5,639 m). The Dome of Ice (5,029 m) is located in the chain of mountains within the Chepert Pass area of ​​Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. It is located southeast of Dante Pass and north of Pakpike Shock (5,639 m), further north in Nelter. (There is another snow dome peak near Concordia).
Peak Peak (56 563939 m) is located northwest of Neelter Peak (m, 6788 m) and south of Pakpike Snow Dome (02 029 m). Height is additionally known as Khatar Peak.
Chari Khand (5886 m) is one of the many peaks of the fort that separates the Nelter Valley from KH. From the north peaks to the north peaks there is a compass peak (5639 m) and an ice dome (5029 m). The mountain faces northwest in the Ice Dome and continues north to the Sentinel (5260m), just north of Pachora Pass (4710m).
